- Video Presenation (15min)
- Video Conference for Discussion (30min)
Wikiversity & PanDocElectron
In the context of Open Educational Resource (OER) and the Project LLinES the concept of creating OER products for Capacity Building was optimized due to the maintenance of the Video. Due to the fact that it is difficult to update slides and audio comments in a video presentation, Wikiversity was chosen as repository for OER products. The content itself cannot be used directly as a presentation. So there is a missing link between OER repository in Wikiversity and a webbased HTML presentation in RevealJS with Audio Comments. PanDocElectron is designed for bridging the gap between Wikiversity and HTML Presentation and of course other output formats.

Download existing Videos
Due to network constraints at the Local or Regional Meeting Point (LMP/RMP) it might be reasonable to download all the videos prior to the meeting and show them locally at LMP/RMP.
You can download the videos on your local machine, if you use the Firefox-Add-On
http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
The youtube videos can create network traffic that exceed your bandwith and capacity of your internet conncection. Furthermore at certain regional or local meeting points (e.g. UN-Campus in Bonn) you have to be aware of bandwith limitation. To minimize these network constraints it might be reasonable to start the videos locally from the computer at the local meeting point and download them prior to the Meeting resp. virtual Conference.
Especially if you have poor network connection you can use the VideoDownloader-Plugin for Firefox to Download Videos to your local machine.
