Flashmeeting Tutorial
- Requirements Computer: You just need a computer Linux/Mac/Windows with Webcam capable to play Flash-Videos (Most Computers can do that). You do NOT need to install any software on your computer, you need just a browser.
- You do NOT need to register an account even if you see the option. Just enter the meeting when it is open and enter as GUEST providing your name.
- "Open Test Application" before meeting to test Audio and Video Settings (to be sure that you can hear us and we can hear and see you)
- For a screencast about flashmeeting see below or [Video].
- At the workshop the FlashMeeting starting times are given in El Salvador Time. To convert the time the following links may be helpful: [Meeting Time Planner] [World Clock]
- There is a chat-function in Flashmeeting. This could be useful, if receive or send audio is not working
- When you start broadcasting, please wait for approximately 2 seconds until you START and switch off your broadcast 2 seconds after you STOP speaking, because switching to your audio channel may be a bit delayed due to network connectivity.
- It is reasonable to have 2 data projectors to be able to follow the Flashmeeting and Chat comments on one data projector and follow the video presentations on an other data projector at the same time.
- If you have multiple people in one room participating in the Flashmeeting with their own Laptops, please use head sets to avoid audio feedback loops or switch off speaker when someone in the room is broadcasting.
- Please introduce yourself, when you broadcast the first time.
