Mobile Devices as Decision Support Client

Mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, ...) are decision support clients, that support users in making better decisions

• (RISK) to information about their own risk at their current geolocation or
• (RESOURCES) to provide access to risk mitigation resources

Moibile devices have access to the GPS sensor and therefore the decision support can be tailored to the geolocation of the risk exposed user.

Requirements

The following requirements are identified:

• Users should use the app on a daily basis because Risk and Resource information are rare. This leads to the requirement, that an OpenSource replacements of Messengers are necessary to attract users. These messenger (Working Title: WhatsMail) should be created as App.
• Include OpenSource-Navigation like Navit or OSMAnd with OpenStreetMap / Humanitarian OpenStreetMap to support spatial decisions.
  
• Cross-plattform developement in HTML5 and Cordova
