On one hand Remote Participation (virtual) at a meeting or conference creates Cost and Time Benefits due to avoiding travel expenses and travel time. On the other hand personal interaction and Face-to-Face (F2F) communication between participants especially from different disciplines has benefits on personal interaction in problem solving activities.

Local and regional meeting meeting point combine both benefitd by linking multiple international local and regional meeting points video conferencing facilities.
